Elder Updates

The continuation of our Annual Meeting was a wonderful time of fellowship. The Prayer Service prior to the meeting was Spirit led and seemed to set the tone for the meeting. At the meeting, the members approved the By–Law changes recommended by the Elders. The members also affirmed the new Elders and Deacons. The Leadership Teams gave brief reports on their exciting activities.·

+The search team for the Executive Pastor has identified 3-5 candidates out of a number of applicants. The Elders are reviewing the recommendations at this time.
+The Management Team has hired an Office Manager, Jodie Schneeberg. Please take some time and introduce yourself to her. The Management Team is also interviewing candidates for the Receptionist position.
+The church will be given an opportunity to bid on the land at the corner of Cedar Ave this month, October.
+Plans are being considered for addressing the overflow at the 10:00a.m. service.· The church received over 30 new members in September.
+There are a number of people interested in becoming members and there is a New Members Class being scheduled for November.
