An April Message
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As the Elders continue to attempt to keep the congregation informed on issues before us, we would like to update you on our land search. As you know Robert made an announcement in late February that we had sent a letter of intent on a piece of property in East Greenwich. We did receive a response to our letter and at this point we are researching more information and hope to respond to the seller soon. We also decided to continue to seek property suitable for our expansion. We expect to have more detailed information to share with you in the near future.
Again this Blog has been set up so you, the congregation, can communicate with us on issues of Christ Church. Feel free to email us your thoughts regarding the ministry and leadership at Christ Church.
Faithfully, in Christ

Reflections with Robert Messore
As we continue to look at the aspect of prayer that is listening, let us take time to read some Scripture that may help us to hear God speaking to us individually.
In the third chapter of the Gospel of John we read of the wonderful revelation that God is love. What is being communicated to us is not so much a characteristic of God as the nature of God. His nature, His essence is love.
Another Scripture for us to ponder is Isaiah 43:1-3. Is it possible to hear God calling you by name? How does God’s voice sound to you as you hear your name spoken? Re-reading Isaiah 43:1&2, have you heard God say to you that you are His? Put everything aside for a few minutes, be comfortable, and listen to God as He says to you, “you are mine”. Listen with your heart. Feel what it is like to be the beloved of God. What is your response?
Take some time to write down your feelings. If you would like to meet with an Elder to pray with you and your response to these Scriptures please email us.
For the Elders,
Robert Messore
